IPX7 & IPX8K Water Ingress Protection Test Equipment

The IPX7 & IPX8 Water Ingress Test Chamber is designed to evaluate the resistance of enclosures, electrical and electronic equipment against water ingress under temporary and continuous immersion conditions.
The system complies with IPX7 and IPX8 requirements as defined in IEC 60529, ensuring reliable and repeatable testing for consumer electronics, automotive components, lighting fixtures, EV parts, medical devices, and outdoor equipment.

The chamber allows precise control over immersion depth, test duration, and water conditions, making it suitable for both type testing and routine quality assurance.

Test Capability

IPX7 – Temporary Immersion

Immersion depth: 1 meter below water surface

Purpose: Protection against accidental immersion

IPX8 – Continuous Immersion

Immersion depth: As specified by manufacturer (typically >1 m)
Test duration: As agreed between manufacturer and test lab
Purpose: Long-term or continuous immersion protection
