The Presto IPX3 & IPX4 Rain & Spray Test Apparatus analyzes if an electrical enclosure can effectively handle water exposure. Water distribution is handled through an oscillating tube mechanism that sweeps coverage evenly across the specimen. The tube radius can be adjusted and flow rates dialed to match the product being tested which means the same equipment works across a broad range of sizes without any compromise on how accurately the test runs.

One thing worth noting is that the specimen itself stays completely still throughout the process. The perforated support structure takes care of proper exposure on its own, and keeping the product stationary removes a layer of variability that could otherwise throw off the results. For labs that need their numbers to hold up against international standards, that consistency matters more than most people realize.
