What is the use of a hot and cold test chamber?

The use of hot and cold chambers is to evaluate the reactions of batteries that are installed in electrical appliances against extreme hot 7 cold climatic conditions. You must have observed a significant drop in the battery percentage while using mobile phones at colder places or higher altitudes. This happens due to the restricted movement of the particles that are forced due to the chemical reactions in batteries under such a cold atmosphere.

Similarly, batteries swell up and experience melting under extremely hot weather as these particles caused by chemical reactions expand more than their original state and cause expansion or swelling up of batteries.
